Intro

Entire is the developer platform from former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke (@ashtom). On 2026-10-26 at 17:00 UTC the company shipped its AI-native Git forge (@GoEntire): built for teams where agents write code faster than humans can review it. The product replaces classic pull requests with Trails, adds distributed Git hosting, and introduces Continuous Memory.

Entire previously announced a $60M seed (Feb 2026) and a Distributed Git Network (Jul 2026). This release is the full forge that can host repositories natively. Dohmke’s launch post drew about 476 likes, 93k impressions, and 296 bookmarks.

Explain

Three primitives (from the launch post)

  1. Trail — On every push, review agents score the change (e.g. Security / Slop / Human Review Required) with scores pinned at the top. Findings can be fixed or dismissed; Gates can require human approval and green CI before merge.
  2. Distributed Git hosting — A Git-compatible source-control server. Entire’s own benchmark claims about 418 pushes/sec vs GitHub 4.7 and Cursor Origin 65 (vendor-reported). Regions live in the US, EU, Australia, and India, with data-residency options. Create repos, mirror GitHub, or migrate off GitHub.
  3. Continuous Memory — CLI plugins entire-graph (local tree-sitter code map) and entire-brain (index agent sessions onto the graph); Entire claims up to ~71% token savings from the graph in its tests.

CI and ecosystem

Day-one integrations with Buildkite and Depot. Billing is framed around agent tokens rather than seats. Public repos and self-hosting are on the roadmap.

Radar note

Entire was not previously in the leads DB. The 17:00Z launch fell inside the 08:32 scan window but was missed; this run backfills it. Trails and Continuous Memory are capability names; the term page keys on the brand Entire.
