Worken
Intro
Worken is a framework proposed by AGIBOT (智元机器人) for measuring how much productive work robots actually do in real environments. It was introduced at AGIBOT Innovation Day 2026 in Shanghai on October 29, 2026. The idea is to move the industry's headline number from "robots deployed" to work done autonomously.

Explain
Key points
- The formula: as summarized by attendees, Worken = active robots × autonomous hours × output efficiency. A robot that sits idle or needs constant human takeover scores low even if it was sold.
- Why a new metric: embodied AI companies often report shipments or deployments. AGIBOT argues buyers in factories and warehouses care about reliable, measurable output.
- Launched alongside: the same event introduced G2 Max (industrial material-handling robot, dual arms up to 40 kg), AHA3 humanoid hardware, GO-3 Preview foundation model, WITA-Omni 1.0 interaction model and Link-U OS 1.0.
Status
AGIBOT calls Worken a proposed framework, so the exact definitions and whether other robot makers adopt it are still open.
Usage
How to apply the idea
- Track three numbers per robot fleet: how many robots are actively working, how many hours they run without human intervention, and output per hour versus a human or legacy baseline.
- Compare vendors on Worken-style output rather than unit counts or demo videos.
- Watch AGIBOT's channels for the formal definition and any published Worken figures from customer sites.
